DING!
Cause you're so beautiful
Like a tree
Or a high-class prostitute
You're so beautiful
Mmm, you could be a part-time model
But you'd probably have to keep your normal job

Gratz! When do we get the epic mount?
"After walking away from the other people backstage, Justin Bieber found a place where we could be alone -- a bathroom. We went inside and immediately his personality changed drastically. He began touching me and repeatedly said he wanted to fuck the shit out of me."

I spend too much time talking to you young parentals.

Signs of change:
1) Baby crosses eyes and grunts
2) Baby looks smug
3) Baby suddenly smells real bad
4) in absence of 1-3, a sudden change in baby's bottom squishiness ...

"It is kind of like going from an Xbox to an Atari."
—Obama spokesperson Bill Burton, on the technological retrofuckery the new administration found in the White House.

I can't help but note the "six year old Microsoft software" bit. ZOMG, Win XP! Truly it is the technamologcal dark ages! Will Facebook even work on that shit?

We have been promised, on air, at least six months of media softballing like this though, barring the unforeseeable.

Love the whole getting rid of torture thing, that is awesome. More like that! Hell yeah! The rest, I'm kinda losing my buzz a little. All this expectation-lowering poormouthing and ref gaming before the fact isn't helping. gawd, just do work son!

I thought they were using Win2K, not XP.

well 2000 came out in 2000 innit. XP I think woulda been 2001 or so? Either way, the math's off a little. Maybe they were talking about Server 2003, heh.

At any rate, I'd bet most offices in America are running shit that's way more ghetto than what they had up there. Regardless, the article does what it sets out to do: make people think "ok well, it's gonna take them awhile to get that all sorted, so let's cut 'em some slack when things don't start happening like we thought they would."

That article does little to inspire my confidence in either past or future whitehouse network security.

It's symbolic of our struggle against reality.

True, although I assume they lie about this stuff.  Presumably the NSA (or whoever actually secretly handles White House information security) is doing a better job than they let on.

Ya gotta hope, anyway.
