Thurston's rich, the only one who always gets laid (they have separate hammocks, I know, but still), and all three women on the island act like they love him.

And both of the younger women hang all over Gilligan when they're in the mood.

Jonas is the unfortunate player in that little drama.  His repetoire of sexual expression consists only of repressed symbolic acts, of which there are basically two:  Taking off his hat . . . and hitting Gilligan with it.

The Captain totally spoots all over Gilligan while he's sleeping. It's a hazard of having the lower hammock and it's why he doesn't hear so well. Gunk in the ears.
