My sis and I are both very interested in social justice. She and I travelled own to Atlanta several years ago and visited the MLK Civil Rights Museum and it was one of the most humbling experiences of my life. So I was randomly googling Tommie Smith (1968 200m Olympic gold medallist) the other day and discovered he has his own website. And he has an ecommerce business running off it. So I just got my sister the coolest birthday gift ever - an autographed Tommie Smith Black Power salute 8x10 photo.

I ordered one for myself as well. Couldn't resist. I did resist getting him to write something hokie with the autograph though. Temptation was huge to request "FREDA PEOPLE NOW!!!" hahaha
