I'll always remember him as Sam Emerson. :(

Man, he was like the epitome of Badly-Managed / Poorly-Cared-For Child Star Flailing About.  Ugh.

Maybe this will be a wake-up for Feldman.

Former child stars are pretty much automatic entries.

I'm bumping Mr. Coleman up the list a few notches too.

Never could stand Feldman. Kind of disappointed it wasn't him. He was in a bunch of good movies which was unfortunate. Like driving a brand new car home only to discover that the salesman farted in it after he got out.

Feldman was good at playing obnoxious kids, which is sometimes necessary but rarely endearing.  His obsession with Michael Jackson was probably 90% an attention ploy (he was a child star, after all) but still Creepy, even at the time.  Plus, the guy basically posed as the Butch Corey, which was an awkward fit in a role few people would have wanted to play.

He was in the Lost Boys sequel, though.

Coworker A and I just spent several minutes explaining who he was to Coworker B, who is 25 and Polish.
Cause you're so beautiful
Like a tree
Or a high-class prostitute
You're so beautiful
Mmm, you could be a part-time model
But you'd probably have to keep your normal job

And by "Polish" I don't mean she's dumb.  I mean she wasn't here for the 80s.

The rest of the world is probably still looking at us in the '80s ... completely aghast.

My coworker is 24 and she looked at me with a blank stare, so I didn't even bother trying to explain.
I need this done ASAP, or whenever you can get around to it.  Tomorrow is fine.

By the time that dude was popular I was already a punk and watching stuff like Repo Man, Liquid Sky, The Decline of Western Civilization and Nightflight on every Friday night.  Never got into the teen movies of that era.  I think I saw part of that driving school movie, but that's about it.  Never saw Lost Boys.  Was he in anything else of note?  The IMDB page is a mile long and I don't think I recognize any of the movies.

I think my sister had a poster of him because he was 'dreamy'  :puke:

Lost Boys was great.

Oh wait.  Lost Boys was great as far as I remember.  I'd have to see it again to know the truth.

It's cringeworthy in a couple of spots, but holds up pretty well. Kiefer does not sparkle.
