Stupid things at work thread...
« on: April 09, 2010, 01:41:24 PM »
I just saw a note on one of my stupid co-workers desk that crapped me up.  It is a note to remind him he needs to come in early monday morning to take care of something.  The stupid part is he signed his name to it at the end.   :trance:
I need this done ASAP, or whenever you can get around to it.  Tomorrow is fine.

Maybe a lot of people have been forging notes from him to himself saying stuff like that.

Yeah, I hate when that happens.  Damn cow-orkers.

So yesterday I had a courier request to take some docs to a bank by 2:00.  We were a little slammed so I emailed the secretary was it a hard 2:00 deadline (that would be my lunchtime).  It takes about 15 - 20 minutes to get there so with 30 minutes left until 2:00 I went ahead and took it.  I get back 50 minutes later, well after 2:00 and there is an answering email saying no it wasn't a hard 2:00.  It had been sent 5 minutes before 2:00.
I need this done ASAP, or whenever you can get around to it.  Tomorrow is fine.

Deadlines? We don't need no stinkin' deadlines!

We just moved from one building to another building at work.
I went to look for my old filing cabinet, which had a couple things in it I needed on the 2nd floor storage area. I found it. On a pallet. With the drawers facing inside the pallet. Wrapped in saran wrap.

Guess I didn't need that stuff after all.

I LOVE when people tell me I need to call service on a copier/printer because it's putting lines on their copies without checking to see if they smeared crap on the glass first with their filthy fat fingers.

Sometimes the copier tech likes to show me things he has gotten out of our copiers (granted this doesn't happen as much as it used to).  My favorites are peanuts and french fries.

Sounds like it might need a cigarette or a shower.
