are you familiar with The Chronicles of Vladimir?

My goodness, no! I had no idea. Thanks, mo -- yet another new thing for me to explore.

This is what I like about The Stranglers -- there's something going on beneath the surface.

Yeah, I'd never heard of that, either.

I kind of lost track of them after "The Gospel According to the Men in Black." Very weird, more like the Residents than the bass-thumping rock and roll I was after.

"The Raven," now...

Huh. Well I figured it was pretty obscure. Maybe I should try to figure how to digitize it and upload it to youtube.

I haven't been able to play any of that YouTubish nonsense yet, but I still have to play:

As I left work tonight, there was a busker with a steel drum, and he had a HUGE crowd (well, for East Lansing).  After a moment, I realized what he was doing was Under The Sea, from The Little Mermaid.

You're definitely playing, axe...

And I totally bookmarked that Shocking Blue song. They look so retro. Oh wait.

I had to Yoogle Love Buzz though after that. You may recall Nirvana covers that one.

Oh man, when you'd play that on the interwhebradio, I'd have it stuck in my head for days.
Now it makes sense to me why I wanted to be a pharmacist and not a doctor; we take what we can get!

Another favorite of mine.

I think I saw a double decker bus on tv last night. Either that or I must have dreamed about one. I slept on the couch with the tv on, so maybe it was a mixture of the two. I remember thinking how easy it must be to tip one over. And now this morning, I have this stuck in my head:

And if a double-decker bus
Crashes into us
To die by your side
Is such a heavenly way to die
And if a ten-ton truck
Kills the both of us
To die by your side
Well, the pleasure - the privilege is mine
