I need this done ASAP, or whenever you can get around to it.  Tomorrow is fine.

This is a great song.

I think the Eman should be a music critic. I clicked on this link, listened for about 30 seconds and then closed it down.

As I was closing it down, Eman pointed at the screen, giggled and said "That's silly music."

I said yes son, it is.

That is the genius part of the song.

Yeah, I've seen that one before.  Super cool is right.  I have no idea how that kind of sand sculpting is even possible.

They should work with Floam or something more permanent.  It's a shame something like that only lasts a few days.  Good thing we live in an age of photography, at least.

it's packed in there pretty good. when i do sand casting i use a sand called jupiter sand. it's an oil bonded, pre-mix foundry sand made up of fine sharp silica sand, resin and oil. maybe they use something like that.

you'd be surprised how much a nutsack can stretch. you have to stretch it yourself, not a woman. they don't do it quite right.

Really?  Do they, what, truck a few tons of it to the beach?  Or do they only do these things on beaches that happen to have just the right kind of sand?

I only ever look at the pictures.  The articles accompanying these things are usually pretty awful to read.

i have no idea. i don't even know if it was on a beach. the detail on the skin textures is pretty amazing. if it is just beach sand they must humidify the tent. there are really big mullers, i guess you could use a cement truck, that would work to prep that much sand and put it on the beach. maybe they prep it with an environmentally friendly oil that bonds it together until it erodes back into the ocean. it looks suspicious the way it sticks to the tools. then again this is finland and maybe they don't have the EPA looking over their shoulder.

after a little research there are some people who use additives, sprays and other tricks to help these types of sculptures.

that and packing the shit out of it in the form.

This is really stellar work. It'd scare the crap out of little kids, but I'm not above that kind of thing.

Awesome.  I would've loved any of those when I was a kid.  Our library had the book of Japanese monsters, and I remember some of those illustrations fondly.

Lilia thought they were funny.
Cause you're so beautiful
Like a tree
Or a high-class prostitute
You're so beautiful
Mmm, you could be a part-time model
But you'd probably have to keep your normal job

Why do I get the feeling that Thed knows this guy?

the laugh at the end... why does this remind me so much of robin?  ;)
