NOAA predicts a high of 85 here. Observation at 8:55 AM was 96.

I think they're wrong, somewhere.

They keep repeating over and over again that today will be the last day of hte heat wave.

I don't trust them.

Although ... it's cold up here. We got the marine layer.

Not quite 70 F out there yet.  Projected high of around 75 today.  I can live with that.

It's been dry, dry, dry, though.  DRY.  What with my roof leaking, I'm OK with that, too, but seriously it's been pretty dry.

92 mcfriggin degrees.

On the other hand, it's supposed to drop down to the mid-60s tonight.  Then back up to 90 tomorrow, and etc, through the middle of the week.

The wobble's sure confusing the experts.  Our high temp for today just got downgraded from 92 to 85, odds of thunderstorms from Yes to Chance, odds of rain from Yes to 50%, and level of suckage from Bite Me to Reasonable.

I'm not complaining, but it makes it harder to know what to expect.


edit:  They now changed rain to Definite . . . after it already poured, and the high temp has been re-re-revised to 79 F.

It's 56 F and cloudy out there right now.

There's a football game here today, though, so that's just about right and better than if it were still 90 F.  Supposed to get down to the mid-40s tonight, though.
