I talked to SO and he is interested. He'd like to go with me (and see you all again - it's been YEARS) but there are the small complications to think of (cough). We have ideas that are workable so we'll see. I asked if he can't go though, can I go alone and he said yes.

Thanks for the offers   it makes it a lot easier to contemplate this and actually have it work out.

Well, she won't be missing it really (the Canadians don't do this a month earlier do they?).

And I'd like to take this opportunity to show my support for the Hot ____ trend in women's Halloween costumes. :D

Looks like I'm doing the rental van into dc....which means I really don't have transportation to and from philly unless I drive the van there. How long of a drive is it? Maybe I can hook up with you guys for Saturday night.

We won't miss Halloween, the littles would riot. We'd have to leave early Sunday and speed back.

50K confirmed attending so far on Facebook in less than 24 hours!

DC to Philly's about 2.5 hrs or so, but I'm totally flexible in terms of accommodations and whatnot. Totally up for whatever makes the most sense, including whatever housing I have at my disposal. I'm kind of a sucker for you guys.

Hotels, driving home or shamelessly hitting on :tal: or whatever. I'm easy. :D :knotty:

This is really tempting. I haven't ruled it out yet, but it really doesn't fit in with the Sanity theme for me.
It's symbolic of our struggle against reality.

I guess you have to be just insane enough to think attending a rally to restore sanity might actually work ;)

Then only attend the March to Keep Fear Alive. Problem solved.
