  I just had that picture on the screen, and I got up to go to the bathroom.  I heard Lilia say "OH!  It's Lala! And kitty-kitty!"  She loooooooves looking at pictures of herself.  When I got back she was sitting in my place.  She gave me a roguish look and said "Dis myyyy seat."
Cause you're so beautiful
Like a tree
Or a high-class prostitute
You're so beautiful
Mmm, you could be a part-time model
But you'd probably have to keep your normal job

I do love the combination of their facial expressions in that picture.  Classic.

Har.  They sell collars for cats that have laser pointers built in, and there's a remote to turn the laser on and off, but they're like $50.  I can just move the laser around myself and save $47 . . . .

My SIL bought one of those "Robotic" things that sits on the floor and allegedly moves a laser pointer around in a sort of Spirograph pattern.  It actually moves in a circle that shifts around slightly.  One of our cats will watch it, but not chase it, whereas she goes crazy if you wiggle a laser pointer.  In fact, by now she gets all excited if she sees a ballpoint pen.

She's either very smart or very dumb.

There's a fine line between clever and stupid.

Judging by this cat, it's less of a fine line and more of a kingdom.  This morning, my brother and SIL kept hearing a beeping noise they were sure was a cell phone or something.  I said, "It sounds like glass clinking somewhere."

The cat had somehow dragged a small glass bowl (ramekin-sized) down the stairs and into the basement, without breaking it, and she was amusing herself by shoving it around the concrete floor with her head.

That is talent.

Focus!

The facial expressions that thing is making reminds me of someone. At first I was thinking George Castanza's dad, then the guy from Fargo, but it's not either of them... ah, I know - George Gobel.

It's symbolic of our struggle against reality.
