Just a little camera shy, eh?  :rollin:
I'm generalizing from one example here, but everyone generalizes from one example. At least, I do.

How'd you like to bust a move like Tom? Watch him really take off at about 1:18.

Tom Jones went through White and came out somewhere inexplicable.  Of course, so did Michael Jackson.

Anybody else ever wonder why the cool factor for microphones peaked by about 1982?

I'm a fan. Unashamedly.

Check out Molly - one of the related videos on that page - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ydmmg7-VXSw

Too cute. She wants to go inside the tv and play with the kids and the other dogs.

I saw a sciency nature program about THE BRAIN (OMG) the other month, and they were talking about differences between human and pet brains.  After repeating the old chestnut that dogs can't see colors, they also said that dogs and cats can't recognize images in mirrors or TVs because they rely on more than their eyes to determine 3D.

I was seriously wondering who was in their research department, but, actually, compared to the AP . . . .   I just read an AP article about the new solar project Arizona, and it carefully explained that the new plant would use the sun's "direct heat" but NOT "light" to make electricity.

So, um, they'll be sticking a big metal rod into the sun to tap that heat, or something?

My ex's parents had an adorable little white cat who was obsessed with trying to pounce on football players during televised games, and we used to have a cat that was utterly hypnotized when the TV showed birds.  Nothing else on TV caught her attention, but almost any kind of moving bird, whether it was making noise or not, would get her glued to the set.  It wasn't as funny as trying to disrupt a touchdown, but still.

Read this month's National Geographic.
To summarize: Border Collies are smarter.

... than all of us.
"Parasitic wasps laying eggs in other insects is a better love story than Twilight." - :bitzero:
"Anyhow, it was the best sentient food movie since Killer Tomatoes Eat France." - :flipper:
"lee marvin in drag is no way to spread the gospel, son." - TFJ
"It failed. My enemies have been purged." - Sidious
"It's not like there was ever a time I didn't think Rudy Giuliani was a smug gibbering imbecile." - random axe
"*drags taint* Oh cool, I didn't know you could do that." - mo.d
