And all the talk about it is so deafening. NOT!

I'm generalizing from one example here, but everyone generalizes from one example. At least, I do.

:galm:  Hey but Trump has a hair piece that flapped in the wind.  Now where was that obvious tag again?

About 6" of snow here so far, and it's supposed to keep snowing until 6 PM.

I cannot stress enough how very, very much people here do not know how to drive in the snow.  Like, do not turn from a highway onto a major road in a snowstorm and then come to a complete stop in the middle of the road less than 20' from the turn so you can get out of your car to knock ice off the windshield wipers.  There are turnoffs and driveways and parking lots and side streets galore.  Why beg for death?

I also really, really, really do not understand all the vehicles with no lights on.  Not even daytime running lights.  It's goddamned bizarre and barbaric.

We were supposed to get another 3" of snow by the end of today.  Instead, we woke up (early, no less) to 5" of fresh sticky powder.  And it was still snowing, mixed with the kind of freezing drizzle that doesn't build up on the ground but makes it hard to keep your windshield clear.

People aren't allowed to park on the street overnight, here, but the plows hadn't gotten to anything but a few major routes before people started going to church.  So they parked their SUVs like 4' from the curbs, and then the plows could only leave narrow trails between all the idiots parked in the road.

God would understand if you stayed home, and He'd be less likely to summon you early.

Anyway, it's supposedly finally done, now . . . and it's supposed to all melt mid-week, when it gets up to 40 F and rains.  Fortunately, neither house I have to deal with / get to live in is in an area likely to flood.

DHMO falling from the skies! Sounds like real rain, rather the usual drizzle.

The hills should be lovely on the drive tomorrow. This distant ones, where you can't see the mud slipping down.

I read that as "DMSO falling from the skies!" and thought you guys were having a funky-tasting industrial accident.
